The planning committee has put together a diverse list of events that we hope help you and your classmates celebrate and reminisce.

Friday, June 20

T.G.I.T. Reception (Friday edition)
6:30 p.m.
Main Campus –Student Union

Meet in the Union for a TGIT celebration (remember those?!) to kick off Reunion Weekend. Reminisce about the ‘80s and your years at Stritch with music, trivia, food, and drink that will take you back 25 years. Come “as you were” – 80s attire encouraged but not required. 


Saturday, June 21

Memorial Service for Mildred (Stachowski) Tryba, ’52 (Optional)
11 a.m. Mass (Brunch to follow)
St. Francis of Assisi Chapel

Alumna and member of Stritch’s art faculty for more than 30 years, Mildred Tryba, ’52 had a lifetime of memories tied to Cardinal Stritch University. Join the Tryba family, including daughters Ellen, ‘75, Anne, ’76, and Mary Jo, in celebrating her life and accomplishments during a special memorial service.

Main Campus –Heritage Park

Join your favorite faculty, staff and the Sisters for a picnic lunch in the beautiful Heritage Park on campus (weather permitting – Student Union alternative location). Sister Justine Peter, OSF, Sister Coletta Dunn, OSF, Sister Mary Lea Schneider, OSF, Tim Abler and Father Bill Kohler are just a few of the familiar faces who plan to welcome you back to Stritch.

Sister Margaret Ruddy, OSF, University archivist has already shared some of your class memorabilia and you will not want to miss this activity. Old yearbooks, photos, and other mementos of your Stritch years will bring a tear to your eye and a smile to your face. This visit is always a favorite for our returning alumni and is a hidden gem on campus many don’t know about. An optional tour of campus will be available after time in the archives.

Alumni Awards Celebration

5-8:30 p.m. (5-6 p.m. cocktail reception, 6-7 p.m. dinner, 7-8:30 p.m. awards program)
Main Campus –Joan Steele Stein Center –Business Attire

A night to showcase the best of Stritch! Join us for the signature alumni event of the year as we celebrate alumni leadership, achievement and service. The event begins with an outdoor cocktail reception (weather permitting) with University President Dr. James P. Loftus and his wife, Irene Prior Loftus. Following cocktails and conversation, we will proceed to dinner and the presentation of the 2014 Alumni Awards in the Nancy Kendall Theater. Our 50th and 25th Reunion classes will be recognized in the program. You are sure to leave this event feeling very proud to be a part of this celebrated group of alumni.

Get your foursome of classmates or join other alumni and friends at this annual day of golf to benefit the Stritch Athletics.

Reunion Mass and Brunch

St. Francis of Assisi Chapel - Bonaventure Hall

Join University President Dr. James P. Loftus and his wife, Irene Prior Loftus, for a Mass dedicated to the Class of 1989 and the Jubilarians. A complimentary brunch will be served on campus following the mass.
