University Registrar is responsible for the oversight and management of the
Office of the Registrar’s operation, budget, planning, personnel and
technology. This includes training, supervising and developing a staff
committed to excellence; overseeing the academic records of the institution; and
monitoring academic policies, procedures and curriculum while ensuring compliance
with all federal, state and institutional regulations related to registration
and enrollment. In addition, the
University Registrar leads collaborative efforts to address problem areas and
strategic planning for future enhancements to University systems and processes.
Finally, the University Registrar is responsible for developing, enhancing,
maintaining and effectively utilizing the institution’s academic information
infrastructure and technologies.
|Part-time Completion Coaching Coordinator|
|The Completion Coaching Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing a completion coaching model for the University with the specific goal of increasing persistence, retention and completion rates for low-income and minority students in non-traditional business programs. The Completion Coaching model is intended to aid students nearing the end of their academic program through targeted strategies including the adaptation of University policies prohibiting completion, completion coaching sessions conducted by academic advisors and the distribution of completion grants or stipends as appropriate. The Completion Coaching Coordinator is a highly collaborative position and requires significant partnership with the College of Business and Management, Academic and Career Advising, the Financial Aid office, the Business Office and the Registrar’s Office. In addition, the Completion Coaching Coordinator will coordinate the model on a daily basis, and will be responsible for data collection and assessment of the model as well as needed reporting for the Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation College Completion Grant. This is a Limited Term position through July 2019.|
