Assistant Director of University Ministry

The Assistant Director of University Ministry supports the Student Success Center and the division of Mission Engagement by directing and coordinating the programs and services associated with University Ministry.


Responsibilities include developing faith formation opportunities, supporting the liturgical life of the community, organizing and directing retreat opportunities, supporting interfaith dialogue and providing meaningful service opportunities that connect the University community to our Catholic social teaching.

An excellent candidate will thrive in a multicultural, multi faith environment and will work to establish a strong student leadership team. She/he serves as a member of the staff for Mission Engagement and as such is expected live out the Catholic, Franciscan Values in his/her daily work and life.

Applicants must have earned a Master’s degree in Religious Studies or its equivalent and have a minimum of three years of related experience. A preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of the Catholic and Franciscan tradition, who are comfortable in an ecumenical and interfaith environment, and have a passion to grow an effective ministry to young adults, graduate students, and the wider University community.
