The School of Leadership within the College of Education and Leadership has a reputation for innovative, cutting edge programs.  The School of Leadership offers Undergraduate, Masters, Doctoral and District Administrator Licensure.  The School of Leadership has faculty who are practitioners and actively involved with partnerships with area schools, business groups and non-profit organizations.  The College maintains accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI).

The School of Leadership is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor in the School of Leadership for the 2014-2015 academic years, who will actively contribute to the vision, mission, and goals of the School. Stritch is searching for a faculty member with a strong successful background in K-12 Urban educational leadership, mentoring, and teaching experience on the graduate level in the area of Leadership, Learning (Systems), or Research. This position requires an excellent track record of K-12 leadership experience in complex organizations, along with strategic thinking and systems planning.   Evidence of a strong service orientation is required.  At the Assistant level a vita that reflects scholarship through presentations and publications is expected along with evidence of excellence in teaching adult learners across multiple platforms and service through partnerships with internal and external communities.  Additionally, a full-time faculty member is expected to contribute to Cardinal Stritch University, a community of scholars dedicated to teaching, scholarship and service of the university that advances the mission, reputation, and capacity of their college and department.  The main tenets of the School of Leadership are leading self, leading learning organizations and leading to serve.  A Ph.D. or Ed.D. is expected at time of appointment.
