Cardinal Stritch University is seeking applications for a full-time Benefits/Employment Coordinator.  This position will provide support in on-boarding, recruitment, benefits, billing reconciliation, and HRIS.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  The position will monitor and track all new hire paperwork; prepare and post internal and external vacancy announcements, conduct interviews as requested by departments, work with outside recruitment agencies as needed, screen resumes, applications, conduct criminal background checks and reference checking.      

This person will be responsible for conducting new hire orientations, process benefits information and changes; daily HRIS processing of directory information, personal information updates, reports, and other changes as needed.   

This position will also assist with the processing of billing for all employee benefit plans including monthly audits and reconciliations; provide resolution of employee inquiries and problems; coordinate annual employee benefits open enrollment meetings; tracking all employee on-line training programs and University evaluations.    

Qualifications: Must have exceptional skills in independent decision making, critical thinking and good judgment.  Strong written, verbal communication, organizational skills and detailed orientated are required.   Must have strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Outlook.  Knowledge and skills in Jenzabar preferred.  Must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion and manage multiple assignments through to completion.   

Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field of study is required.  Minimum of two years of professional level HRexperience required, with demonstrated skills in recruitment and employee benefits strongly preferred.
