Full-time Faculty / Chair of Mathematics and Computer Science
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Cardinal Stritch University seeks candidates for Department Chair beginning August 2014. Qualifications for this full-time, tenure-track position include Ph.D./Ed.D. in Mathematics or Mathematics Education, effective communication skills, commitment to teaching excellence, and an active program of scholarship. The position involves leading the Department, teaching Mathematics courses, engaging students, advising majors and minors, and serving on university committees. The successful candidate will be willing to teach a broad range of courses in Mathematics. Mathematics courses at all levels are small and are generally capped at 17 – 20 students. Administrative experience is desirable.
