The Office of Academic Affairs supports and coordinates the academic, strategic planning, student affairs, outreach, and research units at the University, working in close collaboration with the vice presidents, deans, and faculty.
The office is led by the executive vice president for academic affairs, whose responsibilities include strategic student-centered visioning and positive leadership and management that execute the unique vision of the University.

Tia Bojar received her Ph.D. in educational administration from Marquette University. She obtained her master’s degree in curriculum and history from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and her undergraduate degree in education from Cardinal Stritch University.
Prior to her present position, Bojar served as dean of Stritch's College of Education and Leadership. She has held both teaching and administrative positions in K-12 schools, and continues to stay connected to the current and emerging needs of K-12 schools today. She serves on the boards of the Milwaukee Academy of Science, MTEC (Milwaukee Teacher Education Center), Nativity Jesuit Middle School and St. Joan Antida.
Bojar’s areas of expertise/interest include: learning organizations, change and transformation, brain compatible instruction, organizational development, organizational culture, leadership development, coaching as a means of professional growth, strategic planning, and conflict resolution. She has and continues to present locally, national and internationally on conflict resolution. She also co-authored a book, "Leading with the Brain in Mind."

Nancy Dawkins

Nancy Dawkins, director for academic affairs, began her Stritch career in 1990 in the Art Department as assistant to the chair. In 1992 she joined the Office of Academic Affairs as assistant to the executive vice president, and was appointed academic administrator in 2000, and director in 2007. As director, Dawkins assists the executive vice president in insuring that academic policies and procedures are properly administered. She directs the University catalog revision process, and collaborates with deans, registrar and faculty council to be certain that academic policies are accurately reflected in student and faculty handbooks.
Dawkins assists department chairs with academic grievance matters and faculty hiring processes, reviews faculty load, conducts new chair orientations, and coordinates commencement planning activities. She monitors University academic compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), and Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation regulations.
Gail Davidson

Gail Davidson, assistant to the executive vice president, has been with Stritch since 2002. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-- Oshkosh.
Davidson began at Stritch as an academic counseling assistant in the College of Business and Management. In 2004, she accepted the position of assistant to the executive vice president for academic affairs. Her responsibilities include managing the office, creating and maintaining the faculty, department and committee office files, and facilitating the process for undergraduate and graduate appeals to the standards committees.
