Bachelor of Arts in English

The Bachelor of Arts in English degree program at Stritch will prepare you for a variety of careers, including teaching, publishing, editing, technical writing, and public relations. Many graduates also go on to pursue a graduate degree in a variety of disciplines, including law school. A degree in English tells future employers that you can think, analyze, and write —increasingly rare skills in the 21st century workplace. It tells the world that you understand how meaning gets made, why context matters, and what motives people. Beyond classroom experiences, you can also take advantage of internship opportunities to help determine your career path.
