Music

Programs in the Music Department offer small class sizes, individualized instruction, career guidance, and a wide range of performance opportunities with outstanding conductors and coaches. Faculty members are nationally recognized performing artists, teachers and mentors.

The Music Department at Stritch, Wisconsin’s only all‐Steinway school, offers both the Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) and the Bachelor of Arts in Music (B.A. Mus.) degrees with concentrations in performance, composition, music education, and jazz studies. Stritch also offers a Master of Music in Piano degree at the graduate level.

Performance Ensembles

The Concert Choir and Instrumental Chamber ensembles are open by audition to all Stritch students with consent of the director. Non‐music majors who register for the concert choir and instrumental ensembles may qualify by audition for a music performance scholarship.
