Application for Admission to the M.M. in Piano program
Apply online (the application fee is waived for those that apply online).
Official transcripts (from every college or university attended) must be submitted in a sealed envelope directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions. We suggest that you request your transcripts as soon as possible. Your application cannot be reviewed until we have them in hand. It is not necessary to request transcripts for work that you completed at Cardinal Stritch University.
Three Letters of Recommendation
Three letters of recommendation must be submitted from current or former professors, professional musicians, or employers who can comment on your academic achievement, performance skills, teaching ability, and/or potential to successfully complete graduate studies.
Audition with Stritch Piano Faculty
Live auditions are preferred. CDs may be considered.
Placement Test in Music Theory and Music History
This requirement may be waived based on the following criteria after a transcript review:
- A bachelor’s degree in music completed within the last five years.
- Sufficient credits and grades in music theory and music history coursework as determined by Stritch music faculty.
