Degree Requirements
A.S. Business
A minimum of 64 semester credits are required for graduation.
Example:
64 credits (to graduate)
48 credits (courses in the ASB major)
16 remaining credits
The remaining credits may be earned through:
- Portfolio - 18 credits maximum
- CLEP - 30 credits maximum
- Elective Courses - taken at Stritch or in transfer
The total of 64 semester credits must include:
48 major credits taken at Stritch (residency)
Liberal Arts courses totaling 30 credits, including:
Written Communication - 1 course
Oral Communication - 1 course
Social Sciences - 3 courses
Science - 1 course
Math - 1 course
Humanities - 3 courses
Electives to reach 64 total credits
In addition, students must have:
- A minimum of 2.0 overall grade point average;
- A minimum grade of C- in non-elective courses;
- Faculty recommendation for graduation.
