SEWNTP
The Southeastern Wisconsin New Teacher Project (SEWNTP) is a collaborative network of 26 local school districts and Stritch's School of Education, in partnership with the New Teacher Center. We provide opportunity and access for beginning teachers, mentors, and districts to maximize teacher effectiveness to ensure student learning.

2013-2014 Consortium calendars
Cardinal Stritch and area school districts in
southeastern Wisconsin have joined together as a consortium to meet districts'
mentoring and new teacher induction needs. The consortium provides its members
with ongoing training and support to meet PI 34 requirements and collaboration
to share ideas, resources, and expenses.
As a
SEWNTP consortium member, you will have access to:

mentoring and teaching
- Initial educator
standards-based support seminars
- Inter-district professional
development plan (PDP) reviewer team database & PI 34 guidance
- Customized district
consultation
- Inter-district

and mentoring/Coaching Certificate program (Open to non-consortium members)

Ning- an online platform to foster dialogue, discussion,
and sharing of resources, across diverse districts, beyond the structured
time of our offerings.
School districts can join at any point
during the year at a prorated consortium fee. Members receive discounted
fees for graduate credit and training fees.
