Application for Admission to the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Special Education (extended certification) program
Applications are not currently being accepted for the face-to-face format of this program. Applications are being accepted for the online format with courses beginning August 2013.
Official Transcripts
Official transcripts (from every college or university attended) must
be submitted in a sealed envelope directly to the Office of Graduate
Admissions. We suggest that you request your transcripts as soon as
possible. Your application cannot be reviewed until we have them in
hand. It is not necessary to request transcripts for work that you have
completed at Cardinal Stritch University.
Two Attitude and Disposition Questionnaires
The attitude and disposition questionnaire should be completed by two individuals who have supervised you in a professional capacity.
Personal Essay
The personal essay should be typed, one to two pages in length, and
should address why you want to pursue certification in Special
Education, the path you have taken to get here and the dedication you
will have to the program.
For priority admission consideration, please submit application materials by:
- Dec. 1 for the spring semester
- May 1 for the summer semester

Individuals interested in applying for a Federal Student Loan should follow the steps for the financial aid process.
