Official Transcripts

every college or university attended) must be submitted in a sealed
envelope directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions. We suggest that
you request your transcripts as soon as possible. Your application
cannot be reviewed until we have them in hand. It is not necessary to

Official Scores for the Praxis I: Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST)
Request that an official copy of your PPST scores be sent to our Office of Graduate Admissions.
The
Wisconsin Administrative Code PI 34 requires that all candidates in an
initial licensure program pass the PPST in reading, writing and math.
The passing score for each test is: Reading 175, Writing 174, Math 173.
These tests are administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Tests may be taken in either a paper-and-pencil
format or via computer at a Prometric Testing Center. Registration for the PPST is required online at www.ets.org/praxis.
- Computer version: The computer tests are offered by appointment at Prometric Testing Centers. (Official scores are available 2 to 3 weeks after taking the tests.)
- Paper-and-pencil version: The paper version of the tests is offered
at limited times throughout the year at various sites around the state. (Official scores are available four to six weeks after taking the tests.)
PLATO® Learning is an online instructional support and test preparation program offering assessment and lessons directly related to the Praxis I: PPST math, reading and writing sections. Applicants to Stritch’s initial teaching certification programs may use this program free of charge. Contact your admission counselor for password and log-in directions. In addition, study guides for the PPST are available in many libraries, or may be purchased at most bookstores, online or through ETS.
Two Attitude and Disposition Questionnaires
Attitude and disposition questionnaires
should be completed by two individuals who know you in a professional
or academic relationship (i.e., supervisors, colleagues, advisors).

want to pursue teaching, the path you have taken to get here, and the
