The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is delivered in a semester format, with classes meeting during the daytime.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree program at Stritch is designed for students seeking a nursing degree with a liberal arts foundation. Our program builds upon a foundation of knowledge in science and the humanities, and is aimed at developing your abilities to practice nursing using the principles of health promotion, maintenance and restoration across the life span in a variety of structured client settings. B.S.N. graduates are prepared as general clinical practitioners, and are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses in order to obtain Wisconsin State R.N. license.
The B.S.N. program allows you to have a wide variety of clinical experiences in community agencies and hospitals. Some of our clinical sites include: Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, Sinai-Samaritan Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Agape Community Center, community health departments, and K-12 schools.
