Required courses for Major: HS 241, 242 and 243, 103 or 104, 201, 202, 314 (two courses), 401, 402 and electives in History.
Required auxiliary courses for Major: None
Additional Requirements for Teachers: Study of Cooperatives and Environmental Education designed to fulfill requirements of Wisconsin Statutes 118.19 (6) and Wisconsin Administrative Code 3.03 (3) 5, for teachers of Science and Social Studies. These requirements may be met by taking BL/CH 210, GE 101 or GE 102 (for environmental Studies); and EC 201 (for Cooperatives); or as directed study apart from the above courses.
History Minor: 24 credits
Required courses for Minor: HS 100, 241, 242 or 243; 102, 103 or 104, 201, 202, 314, 401 or 402, one elective. This also constitutes the Minor in History for Elementary Certification.

Pre-Law
The Pre-Law Program with History as a major requires 34 hours in History with advised courses in English, Communication Arts, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy, Religious Studies and Business; with a Social Studies major, a 22-credit minimum in History (six 3-credit courses plus HS 401 and 402), and courses from the following: Sociology, Geography, Economics, Political Science with additional advised courses, as above.
