Student Outcomes

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)

Cardinal Stritch University and the College of Business and Management are dedicated to a culture of continuous improvement. Continued improvement of teaching, learning and service create a solid student experience and strong student outcomes.
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accredits the College of Business and Management and they ask member institutions to publicly post information about student outcomes for the programs covered by accreditation. Here are some indicators we consider important.

  • Student learning outcomes as measured by the Common Professional Components (CPC) of a business degree, such as economics, accounting, finance and marketing. Each year we measure student performance using a national CPC-based Comprehensive exam and compare the progress of our students with students enrolled at other ACBSP accredited institutions.

  • Retention and Graduation Rates of students enrolled in our business programs.

  • Alumni satisfaction, employment status of graduates and percentage receiving promotion, new job opportunities and salary increases.

Cardinal Stritch University also tracks student retention and graduation rates for all students enrolled in our programs. Alumni in and employment related data is also an important resource for both students and the University and is captured on an annual basis in the First Year Destination Survey which is will soon be available on the University website at First Year Destination Survey

The College of Business and Management’s Bachelor of Science programs in Business Administration, Management, Strategic Management of Information Systems, and Human Services Management, and the Master of Business Administration and Master of Management, are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
The College of Business and Management’s recent academic reorganization aligned all traditional and non-traditional business degrees offered at Stritch under the auspices of the College. As a result, the College is working with ACBSP to expand accreditation to all degree programs offered. The following programs are not currently ACBSP accredited: AS in Business (Accelerated: College of Business and Management); BA in Accounting (Semester/Traditional: College of Business and Management); BA in Business (Semester/Traditional: College of Business and Management); BA in International Business (Semester/Traditional: College of Business and Management); BS in Marketing (Semester/Traditional: College of Business and Management) and BS in Hospitality Management (Accelerated: College of Business and Management).
