Undergraduate Student Orientation
After you’ve been accepted to Stritch and have registered for your classes, you’ll be invited to attend a New Student Orientation.
Freshman New Student Orientation
Freshman New Student Orientation takes place over several days leading up to the start of your first semester at Stritch, and includes residence hall move-in (if you are living on-campus); a matriculation ceremony, in which University faculty and leadership will officially welcome you to Stritch; the opportunity to participate in a service experience, and program sessions that will help you navigate your first semester at Stritch.
At orientation, you'll meet and get to know your fellow new students and upper-class orientation leaders, learn about ways to get involved at Stritch through clubs and service organizations, and participate in social activities designed to get you comfortable with your new surroundings at Stritch and in Milwaukee.
Freshman New Student Orientation is Thursday, Aug. 21 - Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014. Move-In Day is Thursday, Aug. 21.
*Orientation is mandatory for all incoming freshmen.
Transfer Student Orientation
Transfer Student Orientation is a half-day program for all students transferring to Stritch directly from another institution or returning to school after a prolonged absence. Transfer students have unique needs and often come to college while trying to balance their personal, family and work life. For that reason, your orientation needs are different from first-time college students, and your Transfer Student Orientation will reflect that.
Transfer Student Orientation will be held from 8 a.m.-Noon on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014.
