Alumni Awards
The Cardinal Stritch University Alumni Association has presented awards to honor alumni and friends of the University since 1987.

Through its annual Alumni Awards program, Stritch honors its most notable alumni for their professional and personal achievements which have made a significant impact in their field, and whose life and character have earned the respect and admiration of their peers and professional colleagues. The awards program seeks to recognize individuals who, through their leadership and vision, exemplify the Franciscan values and the mission of the University in transforming lives.
Our Franciscan values include:
- Creating a caring community
- Showing compassion
- Reverencing all of creation
- Making peace
Award recipients should have graduated from Stritch (either in graduate or undergraduate programs). All nominations and accompanying research are kept in the strictest confidence.

Distinguished Alumni Awards
Service to Stritch
This award recognizes an individual who personifies the Franciscan values through leadership, volunteerism and service to Cardinal Stritch University.
Professional Achievement
This award recognizes an individual who has merited recognition, and thus brought honor to Cardinal Stritch University through their professional achievements, which have made a significant impact in their field and whose life and character have earned the respect and admiration of their professional colleagues.
Spirit of St. Francis Distinguished Alumni Award for Community Service
This award honors an individual who has performed exemplary volunteerism and leadership while serving his or her community.
G.O.L.D. Alumni Award (Graduate of the Last Decade)
Recognizes alumni who received their degree from Cardinal Stritch University within the last 10 years (recognized both in graduate and undergraduate categories).
Criteria:
- Early excellence in chosen professions, service to their community and/or service to Stritch;
- Achievements have brought honor to their service organizations;
- Graduated from Stritch 10 or fewer years prior to nomination
