1960s
Elizabeth R. (Plotz) Way (B.A. Music, ’69) wrote "And I
Will Love You from Heaven,” a non-fiction book including a collection of
real-life experiences of consolation and comfort during times of grief.
1980s
Lisa (Kohn) Krier (B.A. Art, ’82) is general manager of the
Duluth Trading Company's Port Washington, Wis., store.
Dorsey Kendrick (M.S. Management, ’84) received the Liberty
Bell Award from The Foundation of the New Haven County Bar for her work as
president of Gateway Community College in North Haven, Conn.
Lisa (Petesch) Badran (B.A. Education, ’87; M.E.
Professional Development: Teaching, ’90) completed the 2012 Boston Marathon.
Amy (Halvorson) Whittenberger (M.A. Management, ’89; M.B.A.,
’00) opened a human resources consulting firm, HR Compass Consulting, LLC, and
is an adjunct faculty member in Stritch’s College of Business and Management.

Gina (Breuer) Klink (B.A. Education, ’93), a teacher at
Rossman Elementary, received the Hartford School District's Teacher of the Year
award in Hartford, Wis.
Bobbe Teigen (M.S. Health Administration, ’94) is CEO at
Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, Wis.
Paul T. Gessner (B.A. Broad Field Social Studies, ’97; M.S.
Educational Leadership, ’03) is head of school at St. Joan Antida High School
in Milwaukee.
Michael Steger (A.S. Business, ’97; B.S. Management, ’99; M.B.A.,
’05) is vice president and COO of Waukesha Metal Products of Sussex, Wis.
Waukesha Metal Products was named one of the Top 10 Businesses of the Year by
BizTimes Milwaukee and The Waukesha County Business Alliance.
Scott R. Murray (B.S. Business Administration, ’99) is the
real estate facility manager for ABC Supply Co., of Beloit, Wis.

Penny (Muehe) Clary (B.S. Business Administration, ’01) is
the administrator for Bloomfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in
Dodgeville, Wis.
Shane Judd (M.B.A., ’02) is the director of digital channel
marketing for Kohler Company’s kitchen and bath division in the Americas region
in Kohler, Wis.
Dan Nerad (Ed.D. Leadership, ’02) is superintendent of
schools for the Birmingham School District in Birmingham, Mich.
Kelly (Gierach) Fyfe (B.A. Education, ’03) is the principal
at Lumen Christi Catholic School in Thiensville and Mequon, Wis.
Kessha Hobson (B.S. Management, ’03; M.S. Management, ’07)
is center coordinator for Ebenezer Child Care Centers’ Southside Milwaukee
location.
Claire (Zillmer) Odishoo (B.S. Business Administration, ’03)
is co-president of Milwaukee Art Dealers Association, representing nonprofit
galleries in Milwaukee.
Jimmy Casas (M.S. Educational Leadership, ’04) was named the
2012 Iowa Secondary Principal of the Year by the School Administrators of Iowa.
He is the principal of Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Tina L. (Schultz) Rojas (B.A. Theater, ’04) was promoted to
GS-9 military personnel and administrative specialist for the U.S. Army.
Eddie Tomaich (M.A. Clinical Psychology, ’05) earned his
Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University and is a
psychology intern at Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc, Wis.
Heather Kaminski (B.A. Chemistry, ’06) earned her Ph.D. in
molecular biophysics from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee on May
18. Kaminski is a technical service scientist for Promega Corporation in
Madison.
Shelly L. Komondoros (M.A. Clinical Psychology, ’06)
received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in
May.
Meaghan Morrissey (B.A. Theater, ’06) is director of
development and public relations for COA Youth and Family Centers in Milwaukee.
Mary (Tucker) Kellner (Ed.D. Leadership, ’07) received a
2012 Special Life Achievement Award from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Alumni Association Board.
Matthew Lueck (B.S. Management, ’07) is the bank manager for
the Associated Bank branch in Festival Foods in Manitowoc, Wis.
Dennis Videtic (M.B.A., ’07) is the administrator for
Morningside Health Center in Sheboygan, Wis.
Katie Harrison (M.A. Clinical Psychology, ’08) is an Alcohol
and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) and mental health counselor at Red Oak Counseling
in Elm Grove, Wis.
Yasmine (Jaber) Ratz (M.A. Clinical Psychology, ’09) is a
case management associate at University Physicians Healthcare-Core Behavioral
Health Services in Tucson, Ariz.
Jeff Zimpel (B.F.A. Graphic Design, ’09), an art teacher at
Shorewood High School in Shorewood, Wis., worked with Stone Creek Coffee in
Milwaukee to provide a professional learning opportunity for his students, who
created packaging labels that Stone Creek used earlier this year. The top
design was featured on the Milwaukee blend.

Jennifer (Knight) Laffin (M.A. Teaching Elementary, ’10)
received the 2011-12 Teacher of the Year award for the Lake Geneva School
District in Lake Geneva, Wis.
Laura (Runge) Mokelke (B.S. Management, ’10) is member services
coordinator for the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce in Brookfield, Wis.
Katrina Tarke-Karge (M.A. Clinical Psychology, ’10) is a
psychotherapist with Family Behavioral Solutions at Pediatric Psychology
Associates in Wauwatosa, Wis.
Trevor Rees (B.A. Theater, ’11) has an internship with the
acting company at American Folklore Theater in Door County, Wis.
John E. Baker, Jr., (M.B.A., ’12) is vice president of
