The work of contemporary and historical visual artists, as well as
Stritch students, is exhibited in our Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery,
located in the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies/Fine
Arts.
A Gallery Store, adjacent to the gallery, features an array of
beautiful artworks and wearables made by Stritch Art majors and
faculty. Store hours are the same as the gallery hours, as well as by
appointment.
The Joan Steele Stein Center is also home to two large outdoor
sculptures by Bilhenry Walker and Steve Fischer, installed on the
northeast and northwest corners of the building. Stritch has the largest
outdoor sculpture garden in the area, exclusively featuring local
sculptors.
The arts are integral to a Stritch education, and our diverse offerings aim to entertain and inform the community as a whole.
Gallery hours are noon-4 p.m. Sunday through Friday. The gallery is
located in the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies/Fine
Arts at Stritch, 6801 N. Yates Road.
Admission is free.
