Youth Leadership Programs
Empower youth to transform their communities by increasing their leadership capacity.
The Youth Leadership Practice of the Cardinal Stritch University Leadership Center exists to empower youth to transform their communities by increasing their leadership capacity. We do this by offering a variety of different programming and training opportunities to youth in and around the Greater Milwaukee area.
We seek to:
- To form leaders with integrity and purpose
- To build a sense of hope and responsibility among young people
- To increase access to skills, knowledge, social connections and resources
- To reduce violence and promote tolerance and peaceful conflict resolution
Tomorrow’s Present, our flagship program is a partnership with the House of Peace and is based on the research of Dr. Lisa Calderone-Stewart. Her model of Transformational Leadership is exemplified through the programming of Tomorrow’s Present.
