Hispanic
Professionals of Greater Milwaukee (HPGM) Partnership -
Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee (HPGM) and the Leadership
Center are excited to announce that in Fall of 2011 they will join
forces to provide leadership and management development programs
especially designed to meet the needs of HPGM members.
African American Leadership Program - The
African-American Leadership Program (AALP) supports leadership
transformation--change that evolves authentically from the inside out.
AALP is a nine-month program utilizing active learning, coaching, and
networking to create a dynamic learning experience that strengthens the
leadership growth of Black professionals in private, public, and
nonprofit organizations.
American Indian Leadership Program - In 2011, the
Leadership Center received a generous planning grant from the Forest
County Potawatomi Foundation to create an American Indian Leadership
Program in consultation with elders and key leaders from American Indian
Communities.
Teen Leader Program/Tomorrow's
Present - Tomorrow’s Present provides comprehensive
leadership formation for middle and high school youth, and adults
working with youth, to transform their communities through leadership,
learning, service, and reflection.

(supports urban youth entering college)
Robert Morris University partnership – Starting in summer 2011, Stritch will be
offering its doctoral leadership program at the downtown Chicago campus of
Robert Morris University. This unique
partnership affords Stritch the opportunity to provide doctoral programming in
IL, while developing an academic and professional partnership with Robert
Morris, which serves nine different locations in the greater Chicago area.
Turnaround Project with St. Joan Antida High
School
Board of Neighborhood Project – Dr. Donna Recht serves on the Board of
Neighborhood House of Milwaukee.
FC Milwaukee Soccer Club – FC (Football Club) Milwaukee is a premier program for highly talented
and dedicated youth soccer players. The
program is committed to providing quality coaching and excellent
competition. The ultimate goal of the FC
Milwaukee Nationals is for every player to reach his/her fullest
potential. Dr. Peter Jonas has made this
organization a focus on his community service by serving on its Board of
Directors.
Bavarian Soccer Club – Dr. Carroll Bronson serves as a member of the Board of Directors
assisting with strategic planning in business operations, communication,
staffing, marketing, sponsorship/sales, volunteer infrastructure, membership
fee structures. She serves on the
Scholarship Committee, interviewing and awarding soccer scholarships to players
8-18 years old. Carroll has also been
involved in developing a partnership between the Bavarian Soccer Club and the
Sports Management Department at Stritch by creating an internship program for
undergraduate and graduate students, as part of their graduation requirements.
Kids Matter – Dr. Janice Jones serves on the executive board of Kids Matter, Inc., a
nonprofit advocacy group that is working to improve the lives of youth in
foster care. She chairs the program
evaluation committee as well as the advocacy committee. Kids Matter provides assistance to youth of
all ages as they navigate through the foster care system, through school and
into the world of work. A current focus
of the board is youth who are aging out of foster care and are searching for
help in attaining a college education.
Kids Matter also serves foster parents and kinship foster parents. Additionally, Kids Matter has over 200 CASA
volunteers who are Court Appointed Special Advocates for children who do not
have anyone to advocate for them in Children's Court.
Wisconsin Association for Supervision and
Curriculum Development – Dr. Tony
Frontier is currently President of the WASCD, a professional development and
curricular reform advocacy organization.
Dr. Frontier is a member of the Leadership Council of the Association
for Supervision and Curricular Development, the national organization with
which WASCD is affiliated.
Hoops Basketball Program
Coaching of Leaders - Recognizing the value of coaching as a key
competency for leaders, the Leadership Center offers a comprehensive system of
coaching skill development through a leadership lens. Programs range from
individual performance and transformation to organizational and school
effectiveness.
