University Supervisors for Director of Special Education and Pupil Services Licensure Program
The College of Education and Leadership is seeking experienced educational administrators to oversee practicum experiences of students enrolled in the School of Leadership’s Director of Special Education and Pupil Services licensure program. Programs for administrator licensure in Wisconsin are required to include supervised practicums in the area of licensure. University supervisors in this program will be expected to participate in at least two conferences with the school-based supervisor and the practicum student. At least two written evaluations of each practicum student are required. Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check is required prior to employment.

Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor - Clinical Psychology
Cardinal Stritch University is seeking a qualified candidate for a tenure-track assistant/associate professor beginning August 2010, pending final budget approval. Our program offers a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology for working professionals that follows a scientist-practitioner model. With an innovative accelerated format, classes are held one evening per week. Successful candidates will have strong teaching skills, evidence of scholarship, and a commitment to ethical principles, service, and diversity. Graduate courses to be taught include, but are not limited to, ethics, professional standards and legal issues, advanced statistics and research methods, assessment, and practicum seminars. In addition to teaching, duties will include advising master’s theses. Applicants must have a doctorate in clinical psychology and be license eligible in Wisconsin.

Full-time Assistant Professor – Sociology Department The Department of Sociology seeks applicants for a tenure track assistant professorship to begin in August 2010, pending budget approval. We are seeking a candidate with a teaching and research focus on criminal justice and quantitative methods.
The successful candidate will teach courses in crime, deviance, juvenile delinquency, quantitative research methods, introduction to sociology, and marriage and family. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to offer or develop courses outside of these areas. Normal teaching load is 12 credits a semester. Ability to work effectively in a small department and relate to a diverse student body is essential. A Ph.D. in sociology is required at time of appointment.
