Education-Based Occupational Spanish Courses
Further develop your Spanish speaking skills with convenient distance-learning online Spanish courses through the partnership of Cardinal Stritch University and Pronto Spanish.
Courses are worth two graduate credits each and can be completed in a self-paced, independent study format within a four-month period. All courses are DPI approved and are ideal for satisfying educator license renewal.
CEDUC 613 Spanish for Educators
This course is an innovative, self-paced, online occupational Spanish conversation course that seeks to bridge the communication gap between English and Spanish speakers. This course is ideal for teachers, administrators, front office staff and anyone working with Spanish-speaking students and/or parents. In addition to basic greetings and general Spanish vocabulary, the course also covers classroom objects, front-office receptions, action verbs and commands, study skills, registration, courses, school rules and behavior terminology.
The course incorporates visual imagery (photos associated with words and phrases for better retention), native speakers to hear proper pronunciation, language tips, intuitive reading exercises, interactive assessments to measure your progress and comprehension and cultural lessons.
