EDUC 584: Writing the Professional Development Plan

This course will help you understand the requirements of PI-34 and be able to complete your PDP. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the law and the PDP, explore teacher standards, and write a PDP.

Intended audience: 2nd year beginning teachers, mentors, and professional educators

Literacy Seminars for Elementary Teachers

A series of four sessions designed to add to the body of knowledge and strategies used in an exemplary literacy program. Practical application of ideas to be used right away will be the goal.

  • Cost: Free
  • Audience: K-5th grade 2nd & 3rd year beginning teachers, their mentors, and experienced educators
  • Take just one stand alone session or as many as you would like
  • There is a one graduate credit option for educators who attend all four sessions. Information will be available at the first session.

Annual Review and Final PDP Requirements

This seminar reviews the expectations for license renewal, and is geared to help participants review and update their professional development plans with spring reviews to further develop needed documentation.
