SMART Board setup

The following explains how to connect a laptop to the Smart Board monitors in the library study rooms. Please note that configurations may vary by laptop.

1.    While the computer is off, plug in the VGA cable from the monitor to the laptop.

2.    Plug in the USB cable from the monitor to the laptop. This will enable the touch screen and Smart Board capabilities of the monitor.

3.    Turn on the laptop.

4.    Point the remote at the monitor and press the Power On button.

5.    If the image on the laptop does not appear on the monitor, press the VGA button on the remote.
