Master of Arts (M.A.) in History
Overview
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in History at Cardinal Stritch University is designed to help those who want to advance their careers in such fields as archival work, education (middle and high school teachers and junior college history instructors), historic preservation, and preparation for a doctoral degree. The program will also be of interest to those who simply want to pursue their love of history.
The M.A. in History offers students in-depth knowledge of key facets of the human community in the United States and globally. Courses examine the lives of ordinary women and men as well as heroes and leaders.
History Teachers of Advanced Placement
For those who wish to augment their content knowledge for teaching advanced placement courses in United States, European, or World History, Stritch offers 3-credit graduate level courses. These courses can transfer into the M.A. in History program with a grade of B or better.
