"Welcome home to our new students! This is your home, and it always will be."

              - Dr. Jeff Senese, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs

New students arrived on campus in late August, greeted by orientation leaders and warmly welcomed by the applause and smiles of faculty and staff. New students and their families joined the university community for the 2016 Opening Day Convocation ceremony in the Nancy Kendall Theater for prayer, remarks, and a new-student pledge before enjoying lunch together. The four-day welcome weekend also included small-group activities, service projects, Mass, and information sessions interspersed with fun activities like a dinnertime session of QuizMaster Trivia (owned by alumnus Ryan Wickens, ’06,), magic show, carnival, Milwaukee boat cruise, and outdoor movie.
