Orchestra rehearses with renowned guest conductor

In spring 2017, the Stritch Community Orchestra welcomed a special guest conductor to rehearsal – Yaniv Dinur, assistant conductor of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

“The orchestra was preparing its first full-length major work, Dvorak’s Symphony No.9, ‘From the New World,’” said Sal Terrasi, director of instrumental music. “It was tremendously helpful for the Orchestra (and me) to have such a high-level orchestral conductor work with us.”

The orchestra performed the piece at a concert in May.
