The "Getting to Know Your Classroom Technology" training series is available for all faculty and staff. To
register for a session, email Molly Jackson at mkjackson@stritch.edu. Last minute
attendance is encouraged, as well.
The best way to become comfortable with any technology is to
gain hands-on experience. Simply select which sessions match your needs,
attend, and learn how technology enhances not only the student experience, but
also your own.
Basic Classroom
Technology
Training will walk you through the fundamentals of
technology in newly renovated classrooms, as well as the older classrooms.
Learn how to control the projector settings, navigate between sources, connect
your laptop or USB, and utilize the document cameras in the classrooms.

Basic Smart Board
Training Sessions
Training will focus on the basic skills needed to utilize Smart
Boards. Learn how to orient the Smart Board, use its tools, write and save
notes, and understand the software that works hand-in-hand with Smart Board
technology.

Advanced Smart Board
Training Sessions
This session will help intermediate users become more experienced and
comfortable with the Smart Board. Topics include Smart Exchange, Smart Ink,
managing the gallery and contents, and linking objects to websites and
multimedia.

PolyVision Training
Sessions
Roger Bacon 117 utilizes a PolyVision board, which is
similar to a Smart Board but provides additional options and configuration.
This training session will familiarize users with the basics of understanding
the PoliyVision Board’s navigational features.
