The Alumni Association’s Nominations and
Awards Committee is seeking alumni award nominations through Nov. 30
for the annual Alumni Awards program to be held April 24, 2013.
Through its annual Alumni Awards program, Stritch honors its most notable
alumni for their professional and personal achievements which have made a
significant impact in their field, and whose life and character have earned the
respect and admiration of their peers and professional colleagues. The awards
program seeks to recognize individuals who, through their leadership and
vision, exemplify the Franciscan values and the mission of the University in
transforming lives.

Below are the award categories that the
committee is seeking nominations for. More
information, including the nomination form can be found by visiting
the alumni awards page.

Award
nominees should have graduated from Stritch (either in graduate or
undergraduate programs).
Distinguished
Alumni Award for Service to Stritch
– This award recognizes an individual who personifies the Franciscan values
through leadership, volunteerism and service to Cardinal Stritch University.
Distinguished
Alumni Award for Professional Achievement – This award recognizes an individual who has merited
recognition, and thus brought honor to Cardinal Stritch University through
their professional achievements, which have made a significant impact in their
field and whose life and character have earned the respect and admiration of
their professional colleagues.
Spirit
of St. Francis Distinguished Alumni Award for Community Service – This award honors an individual
who has performed exemplary volunteerism and leadership while serving his or
her community.
G.O.L.D. Alumni Award (Graduate of the Last Decade):
This
award recognizes alumni who received their degree from Cardinal Stritch
University within the last 10 years.
Criteria:
- Individuals
who have distinguished themselves through early excellence in their
professions, service to their community and/or service to Stritch;
- Individuals
whose achievements have brought honor to their service organizations;
- Individuals
who have graduated from Stritch 10 or fewer years prior to nomination;
One award recipient will be chosen
for both the undergraduate and graduate level for the G.O.L.D. award.
