Stritch announces winners of student writing competition

Stritch is proud to announce the four winners of the Delta Epsilon Sigma Student Writing Contest. The following students have been chosen as the winners of the Stritch chapter and will move on to the national competition.

Fiction:
Molly Weiland, “My Jamaica”

Poetry:
Hugh Blewett, Three poems

Short Nonfiction:
Annemaree Ludwig, “Seasons of Innocence”

Research Writing:
Catherine Leskinen, “The Compsons’ Names in The Lamb’s Book of Life: A Look at Dilsey’s View of Eternity in William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury

The students’ entries have been submitted to the national Delta Epsilon Sigma competition where they will compete against winners from other universities.
