community service initiatives. The sorority focuses on scholarship, sisterhood,

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was founded on
Nov. 12, 1922 at Butler University in Indiana. The organization’s Stritch chapter was founded
by its current president, Cariss Powell, in January 2011.
