In honor of International Education Week, Stritch will host a series of festive cultural
events from Nov. 12 -16.
The University’s International Education Office invites
students, faculty, and staff to attend the following:
Monday, Nov. 12: Global Market
Visit local vendors in
Bonaventure Hallway from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to shop for international and
fair trade items. Receive a free International Food Fair ticket with every
purchase.
Tuesday, Nov. 13: Education Abroad Expo
Stop by the Student Union from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. to learn about opportunities to study or volunteer
abroad. Former Stritch participants will be available to discuss their
experiences.
Thursday, Nov. 15
International Food Fair
The International
Education Office invites the campus community to travel around the world for
only 75 cents per food item from noon until 1:30 p.m. in the Student
Union. Advance tickets are available from the Dean of Students Office.
International Jeopardy
Test your knowledge of the
world at 5:30 p.m. in the Clare Hall Lounge. The winning team will receive
prizes.
*This event is hosted by undergraduate students majoring in International Business.
Friday, Nov. 16: Holiday Folk Fair International
Attend Milwaukee’s popular
folk fair from 1:30 -5:30 p.m. at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. Sign up for
transportation in the Dean of Students Office.
