Faculty presentations and publications, Oct. 17 -Nov. 4

Dr. Mette L. Baran and Dr. Janice E. Jones, assistant professors in the doctoral leadership studies department, presented a paper, “Creating Effective Online Learning Teams- Triumphs and Tribulations for Students and Faculty in Higher Education” at the American Higher Education Virtual Conference on Oct. 26.

Dr. Carroll Bronson, assistant professor in the doctoral leadership department, had her manuscript “Partner Teaching: A Promising Model” accepted for publication in Education. Dr. Bronson was also recently accepted to present at the 26th Annual Ethnographic and Qualitative Research Conference.

Dr. David Stosur, associate dean for the humanities and associate professor of religious studies, presented a paper, “Narrative Signification and the Paschal Mystery: Liturgy, Participation, and Hermeneutics” for Leuven Encounters in Systematic Theology IX: Mediating Mysteries, Understanding Liturgies Conference at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium on Oct. 25.

Dr. Daryl Webb, assistant professor in the history and political science department, presented his paper, “Is Freedom Dead: The Student Rights Movement on South Dakota College Campuses” at the Northern Great Plains History Conference
Sept. 26-28 in Hudson, Wis.
