Dr. Mary T. Duarte, associate professor and chair of the department of history and political science, presented the paper “A Matter of Honor” for the panel on “Living with the Past:  Perceptions and Realities of the American South” at the Midwest Popular Culture and Midwest American Culture Association on Oct. 11 in St. Louis.

Mark Gesner, faculty chair of community engaged learning and leadership, served on a panel, "Together: Leveraging Corporate Philanthropy, Non-Profit Service and Diversity for a Triple-Win" for the National Society of Hispanic MBAs on Oct. 16.

Louis Loeffler and Kristine Diener, faculty in the instructional technology department, presented “Ease on Down the Road: Taking Your Next Steps in Online Learning” at the Wisconsin Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (WASCD) conference in Appleton on Oct. 4.

Dr. Keith Mann, associate professor and chair of the sociology department, published a review of Tyler Stovall's “Paris and the Spirit of 1919: Consumer Struggles, Transnationalism, and Revolution” (Cambridge, 2012) in the American Historical Review, vol. 118, issue 4. October, 2013.

Dr. David Stosur, associate dean for the Humanities and associate professor of religious studies, has been appointed by Archbishop Listecki to serve a two-year term on the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
