The Cardinal Stritch University Library is sponsoring a unique food drive that benefits both the Hunger Task Force and contributors.

Food Drive

Library patrons will receive a $2 credit toward their fines for every food item they donate through Friday, Dec. 13.

In 2012, the Library collected 91 items for the Hunger Task Force. This year, they are hoping to donate more than 100 items.

Accepted items include:
Cereal
Oatmeal
Pancake mix
Peanut butter
Canned fruit/juice
Canned meats
Canned stew/soup
Canned vegetables
Infant formula/baby food
Pasta
Potato mixes

Food must be non-perishable, undamaged, and unexpired.

A maximum of $20 may be applied to an individual’s overdue materials fines with the Library. Credits are not applicable toward replacement fees.

To donate, visit the circulation desk in the library.

Please consider contributing even if you do not have any fines.
