Principals' Center to launch series on Oct. 8

Dr. James Rickabaugh, executive director of CESA 1, will present “How Do You Do It All?” at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Best Western Midway Hotel, 1005 S. Moorland Road, Brookfield.

Dr. Rickabaugh will provide an overview of a variety of current educational initiatives such as Educator Effectiveness, Smarter Balanced Assessment, and Accountability Report Card with implementation tips and advice for administrators on how to prioritize and balance the tasks at hand.

The session will launch the Principals’ Center’s 2013 -14 Breakfast Conversations series, dedicated to providing school leaders and administrators the opportunity to collaborate in discussions of relevant education issues.

The early registration fee is $30 per session if paid by Oct.1, 2013. Regular registration after this date will cost $35 per session, paid on-site at each session. Fee includes cost of full buffet breakfast and session materials.

1-2 graduate credits are available to participants. Attendance at all six sessions plus completion of outside assignments is required. Registration for credit, payment of tuition, and explanation of credit requirements will occur on-site after the first session on Oct. 8.

For administrators wishing to have documentation of participation for a PDP, a certificate or letter of participation can be provided upon request.
