The Spring Phonathon is in the books, and by all accounts, it was a success.

The annual event wrapped up at the end of April with 997 donors pledging gifts. Nearly half of the pledges were made by new donors.

The impressive participation by 479 first-time donors represents more than financial contributions. It also signifies a refreshed relationship with their alma mater.

Director of Alumni Relations Joel Cencius, ’06, believes that Stritch has a generous and responsive alumni base, and the high participation rate of new donors exemplifies their support.

“Whenever we present our alumni with an opportunity to give back, the response has always been great,” said Cencius. “It’s because they have had such a great experience with Stritch.”

Gifts pledged during the Spring Phonathon will benefit Stritch’s Annual Fund which provides support to the University’s highest priorities, including student scholarships and initiatives.
