More than
$350,000 has been secured from alumni, parents and friends toward the Cardinal
Stritch University Annual Fund, with an unrestricted goal is $1 million by July
31, 2013.
Since tuition does not fully cover the cost of a Stritch education,
gifts to
the unrestricted Annual Fund are critically important dollars that help
maintain, in part, these important programs:
- Student
financial aid
- Professional
development for faculty
- Facility
upgrades—most recently upgrades at the Kenosha and Beloit sites
- Library
resources
- Guest
speakers and lecturers
- Franciscan
Pilgrimage program for students, faculty and staff
- Campus
Ministry
Another
$425,000 in restricted gifts have been received for specific purposes and
endowment.
The recently
completed 75 Days of Giving for Stritch appeal was a component of year-end
gifts to the Annual Fund. The 75-day appeal, which ran Oct. 18- Dec. 31 in honor
of the University’s 75th anniversary, featured videos that
highlighted the impact that gifts to the Annual Fund have on the University and its
students.
