The League of Milwaukee Artists exhibition is on display through March 24 in the Northwestern Mutual Art
Gallery. Be sure to check out this amazing exhibition before it closes.

The exhibit features a selection of works by local
artists, including Stritch alumnae; Marcelline Weinsheim, Jewell Riano, and
Nancy Lohmiller.
The League of Milwaukee Artists was founded in 1944. The organization represents more than 130 individuals who create two-dimensional art using
various media.
Next month, the gallery will unveil the "Sanitary Landfills aka dumps" exhibition, which features the photography of Gina Dabrowski. The exhibition runs April 5-28, with an opening reception during Gallery Night, which is Friday, April 19, from 5 to 8 p.m.
In 2010, Gina Dabrowski received the McKnight Artist Fellowship for Photographers to continue her examination of the big business of trash and the evolution of landfills from the "open dump pits" of the 1970s. Dabrowski's portfolio of large-format (Type C) prints is an exceptional example of current landscape photography in an environmentally-sensitive time.
Gallery hours are
noon -4 p.m., Sunday through Friday. Admission is free.
