The men’s basketball team reserved its place in Stritch history with its first N.A.I.A. Division II National Championship in March. The Milwaukee Brewers recognized this achievement by honoring the team during the home game on May 22.

Head coach Drew Diener threw the ceremonial first pitch as the Brewers hosted the Los Angeles Dodgers.

“This is another very exciting thing that we get to be involved in while celebrating the national title,” Diener said. “It’s a really exciting experience to get the chance to be a part of and we’re hoping a lot of our fans can come join us that day to not only support the Wolves, but to support the Brewers as well.”

This was the second major sporting event celebrating the Wolves’ national championship run. The team was also honored at a Milwaukee Bucks game on April 3.
