The men’s basketball team reserved its place in Stritch history with its first N.A.I.A. Division II National Championship in March. The Milwaukee Brewers will recognize this achievement by honoring the team during a home game on May 22.

Head coach Drew Diener will throw the ceremonial first pitch when the Brewers host the Los Angeles Dodgers at 12:10 p.m. at Miller Park.

“This is another very exciting thing that we get to be involved in while celebrating the national title,” Diener said. “It’s a really exciting experience to get the chance to be a part of and we’re hoping a lot of our fans can come join us that day to not only support the Wolves, but to support the Brewers as well.”

The Brewers are offering Stritch fans discounted tickets for the Loge Infield ($20) and Terrace Box ($12). Discounted tickets must be ordered through Lee Bluvstein by contacting her at (414) 410-4174 or by email at

Please note that all payments are due at the time of ticket request. The deadline to order tickets is Monday, May 13.

This will be the second major sporting event celebrating the Wolves’ national championship run. The team was also honored at a Milwaukee Bucks game on April 3.
