On March 15, Stritch’s Saint Clare Center for Catholic Life will offer its latest event in its Forums on Faith and Work series of breakfast lectures, which aim to illuminate discipleship for the business community.

“Finding Grace in the Chaos of our Daily Business: Lessons from the Faith of Saint Paul" will run from 7:15-9:30 a.m. at the Milwaukee Athletic Club, 758 N. Broadway.

The event will feature Dr. Daniel Scholz, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Stritch. A plated breakfast will be served.

Using St. Paul as a guide for our modern journey, Dr. Scholz will help participants discern hidden moments of God's amazing grace even in the tumultuous and hectic rhythm of the modern business and professional workplace.

Scholz is an active member of the Catholic Biblical Society and the Society of Biblical Literature. He writes weekly columns for both Liturgy Training Publications and Liturgical Publications, Inc., and is the author of "Introducing Jesus in the Gospels and Acts" (2009). His next book, "The Authentic and Disputed Letters of Paul" is forthcoming in 2013. Dr. Scholz gives presentations and lectures in biblical studies at regional and national professional conferences, in parishes and schools

Each event in the series is hosted by Stritch President Dr. James Loftus and his wife, Irene, and feature topical presentations by noted theologians and scholars.

The cost is $25 per person. Space is limited; advanced reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling (414) 410-4340, or register online
