Reporter Ashley Sears visited campus to explore the historic significance of the name
choice. Steven
Kuhl, associate professor of religious studies,offered commentary on the
history of the Franciscan tradition, and student Audrey Edwards, a participant in the Assisi pilgrimage program, was also interviewed.
