Alumni support makes Spring Phonathon a success

The Spring Phonathon is in the books, and by all accounts, it was a success.

The annual event wrapped up in early April with 806 alumni pledging gifts.

Non-donor participation increased to 19% of all pledges with 311 alumni making their first gifts to Stritch.  A record 20% of pledges were credit card gifts, allowing the University to put those gifts to immediate use.

Stritch alumni generously contributed to both the fall and spring phonathons, surpassing the University’s goal for phone-driven gifts and pledges.

Gifts pledged during the Spring Phonathon benefit Stritch’s Annual Fund which provides support to the University’s highest priorities, including student scholarships, faculty support, technology and other student-centered initiatives.

Qualifying gifts will be maximized through the Alumni Challenge, which is more than halfway to meeting its goal. When Challenge gifts total $50,000, all qualifying gifts will be matched, dollar-for-dollar by our generous Challenge team.

Nearly $2 million of the University’s overall 2013-14 fundraising goal of $2.35 million has been secured.  Your continued support of the Annual Fund will move Stritch closer to our goal.
