Gallery announces exhibition schedule for spring

The Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery will display three exhibitions during the spring semester. Artists featured will include Stritch faculty, students, and local high school students.

A Culture of Evil
featuring Sarah Nitschke and Robin Assner
Jan. 17 -March 9
A collaborative team delves into the meaning of evil: how it manifests itself in certain people and what happens when their actions reverberate into culture.

Triangulation: Locating Creative Perspectives at Three Milwaukee High Schools
March 20 -April 20
The exhibition will feature the art of some of Milwaukee's most talented student artists from three local high schools.

*The exhibition will open for Stritch students on Thursday, March 20 from
noon - 1:30 p.m. A public reception will be held on Friday, March 21 from 5 -7 p.m.

Senior Showcase
featuring the work of graduating visual arts students
May 1 -July 27
The Senior Showcase exhibition will celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2014. The show will feature a variety of media, working processes, and artistic visions.

*The exhibition will open for Stritch students on Thursday, May 1 from noon -1:30 p.m. A public reception will be held on Friday, May 2 from 5 -7 p.m.

Admission to the Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery is free.

Gallery hours are noon -4 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.
