Stoecklein, '98, '06, director of Undergraduate Admissions, has been named president-elect of
the Wisconsin Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).
This is the state-level
affiliate group of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling
(NACAC), and is an organization comprised of more than 500 members.
Stoecklein’s nomination as president-elect of WACAC
is a single slate nomination, meaning that her name is the only one that was brought forward for president at the organization’s formal election during
their membership meeting in May.
This is a
three-year volunteer commitment for Stoecklein.
She will serve WACAC in the capacity of president-elect the first year,
president the second year, and past-president the third year. Stoecklein has a long history with both NACAC
and WACAC, and she currently serves as a member of WACAC’s Board of Directors
and an assembly delegate to NACAC.
appointment is a wonderful opportunity for Emmy, and it will help Stritch stay
engaged with undergraduate admissions issues at both the state and national
level,” said Allan Mitchler, vice president for Enrollment Services. “I’m
confident that her service as president of WACAC will augment her
critically important work at the University.”
