Stritch welcomed back alumnae from the Classes of 1937
-63 for Jubilarian Weekend, June 28 -29.
The Class of 1963 was formally inducted into the
Jubilarian Society during a special Mass at the home of President James and Irene Loftus on Saturday, June 29. More than 25 inductees were present for the celebration.
The weekend’s events also included a children’s book
collection tea and art gallery tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary
of Pat Cianciolo’s, ’49, generous donation of 35,000 pieces of children’s
literature, illustrations, articles, and artwork to the University. The event

Other highlights included a tour and brunch at the
Motherhouse in which alumnae were able to visit their original dorm rooms, a tour of the main campus, and a visit to the University Archives where Sister Margaret Ruddy, OSF, had compiled a collection of photos and other artifacts from the Jubilarians' time at Stritch.
